Monuments, memorials, museums and cherry trees–the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC is almost here!

Cotton candy–pale, fluffy, pink and white, is really the best way I can describe the gorgeous Cherry Blossoms that gently frame the Tidal Basin in Washington DC every year. Have you ever seen it? If not, it’s truly something to experience, it’s definitely an item for your must do list. What is really a stunning sight is how these delicate flowers create the picture perfect foreground for some of the areas most famous Washington DC sights like the Jefferson Memorial, the FDR Memorial and the Washington Monument.
