Shrimp & oysters, scenery and so much more, I had a ball in Savannah!

On my most recent visit to Savannah this past week, I enjoyed the most delicious lunch at Uncle Bubba’s Restaurant–if you’ve never indulged in a low-country-boil, you must! They throw shrimp, potatoes, sausage and corn into a big pot and it’s all boiled together. Unbelievably flavorful. I also tried grilled oysters for the first time in my life. I admit, I was daunted by the thought of eating oysters, but these were smothered in Parmesan cheese, served with gobs of melted butter and were much more tasty than I ever imagined oysters to be.
