Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah named Trolley #31 “The Ted Lewis” after deceased Ghosts & Gravetones conductor of the same name. Ted was a longstanding CASTmember who contributed greatly to the program, and the company wanted to recognize his contribution by memorializing his name on his favorite trolley. Things were quite exciting around here for the last couple of days.  Key West played host to NBC’s Today Show for the series, Today Takes A Vacation.  Matt Lauer and Al Roker were in town and showcased the city to their viewers what the trolley does every day for our guests.  Our own Linda Test, Director of Key West Operations and Sarah Evans, Operations Manager, even managed to hang our with Matt and Al! Everyone who purchases a ticket is invited to send a comment to us via email or postal service.We distribute about a hundred comment cards to our CAST at least once a month. Occasionally our guests will write letters and some even include pictures. These are the most rewarding ones. Recently, I received my favorite letter of all. It came from Frank Q. Dinosaur (more…)

Old Town Trolley “TAPS” into TAP

Old Town Trolley Tours is proud to be a part of the newest hospitality related technology to hit Savannah GA, the “Tourist Assistance Portal” or TAP- which features a beautiful high definition touch screen format, delivering all sorts of information to the inquiring guest. It premiered in July, at our Visitors Center, and will soon be found all over the city, in neighboring Welcome Centers and even in the airport.
