Did you know that the Key West Yacht Club was founded in 1938 in the house of one of Flagler’s bridge tenders on the Garrison Bight? The Club has most certainly grown with the times considering it’s full bar, lounge, restaurant facility, fully serviced boar slips, and dockside facilities! Celebration of the 75th Anniversary will take place in 2013 in a newer facility provided by Club members. The Key West Yacht Club continues to be a gathering place for those who love friendship, camaraderie, food, drink, and the water!

The Southernmost House was originally constructed as family home for Dr. Jeptha Harris, who was a surgeon during the Civil War. He took great pride in his magnificent, oceanfront home, and frequently enjoyed hosting guests! In 1996, the Southernmost house underwent a $3 million renovation which restored the beautiful Victorian Home into the marvelous landmark it is today. Guestrooms and suites resonate their unique character, offering sophisticated furnishings, modern luxuries, and a living history of those who have stayed there in the past!
