Welcome to the Holly Jolly New Year’s Trolley!
With two million lights twinkling through the downtown area, what better way to see them than onboard an Old Town Trolley Tour’s vehicle, complete with musical hits from yesterday and today. Sit back and relax as the trolley whisks through the both the lights of historic downtown St. Augustine and through some of the biggest hits of decades past.
Your trip begins at the Visitor’s Information Center on West Castillo Drive. As the Holly Jolly New Year’s Trolley moves through the city, your host will present musical trivia and information about industry developments for each decade, beginning with the 1920’s. And of course, the music. Where would we be without the music?
Hit songs from each of the past decades are on the playlist, from the Beatles to Elvis; Shirley Temple to Beyonce; N’Sync to the Village People. This trolley keeps rocking as you glide through the glowing city. Your host will even demonstrate some of the popular dance steps of the day, including the Charleston! Everyone is welcome to join in the party (but please do remain seated) and keep the good times rolling!
Tours depart from the Visitor’s Information Center on West Castillo Drive at 6 and 7 pm, every Friday and Saturday evening for the month of January.
