Did you ever wonder why Charles Lindbergh, the famous aviator from Detriot who made the first nonstop flight from New York to Paris has an airport in San Diego that is nicknamed “Lindbergh Field”? Well, the reason why is that the airplane that Lindbergh flew, the Spirit of St. Louis, was built in San Diego by Ryan Airline Company.
